The Perfect Way To Exercise

Whenever looking at losing a few pounds for most of us the thing that puts us off, Is the fact that in order to keep the weight off we need to exercise. Most of us will come back with various excuses. I don't have the time. I have an existing injury which stops me from exercising or purely and simply I just can't be bothered it is too much hassle.

Going to the gym for many of us is such a grind. To maintain attending a gym you have to be extremely dedicated. I do not think it is unfair of me to say that going to the gym isn't something that would be classed as having fun. For some certainly a social gathering for others an obsession. For the majority of us though it is something all too easy to find a reason not to do. Yet end up paying months of gym membership fees in the hope that one day we will go.

Thankfully now, largely due to couple of celebrity reality television shoes adults and children alike are exercising, getting fit and having fun. The shows in question? Firstly Dancing on Ice. Hundreds of people are going back to the once empty ice-rinks to try and emulate their favourite star on the ice. We have all seen and heard the celebrities saying just how much fun they are having and how they have toned up and lost weight. Secondly for those of us who are unable to stay upright on the ice. We can of course turn to the dance floor for some inspiration. Dancing is enjoying a massive boom in its popularity. Mainly due to Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars. Seeing the celebrities strutting their stuff week in and week out. Seeing their waste disappear before our eyes and having fun. Is giving people the desire to want to go out and do the same for themselves.

Some may argue that for a family keen, not to turn into a couch potato that ice-skating is the better family option. After all it is something that all of the family are able to do. Dancing, yes it could be argued that it is more for couple or individuals. To that point, I do partially agree. Except for one particular dance and that is line dancing. A dance that the whole family can partake in and enjoy.

For most of us whether we are ice-skating or dancing we would not even think that we are exercising. Yet that is exactly what we are doing. As we are having fun and enjoying ourselves we are more likely to keep it going. Rather than it turning into yet another way to exercise that we give up on after a couple of months.
